Oh my goodness me! What an idea! I've certainly never seen an ice cream boat!! We had real bad snow (like real bad for ENGLAND) and as no one keeps salt they were unable to get out of their drives. So I suggested to a friend who owned a landscape gardening supplies company, that instead of waiting for people to be able to get to his yard to get the salt (which they couldn't!) he should drive round with it in the back of his pick up & using a loud hailer let people know he would sell it off the back of his ute.
I thought it was a fab idea....he never did and still has the salt sat in his drive to this day....arse!
@jqf Haha! My sister worked there and he was mad at her because she was better at sales than him - what an idiot!! Who doesn't need more sales in a business!
