I purchased some art from an artist friend in Oakland. This beautifully decorative package was delivered.
The package contains 2 collage pieces; I hesitate to open it as it destroys the packaging piece. I suppose a photo of it will have to suffice....

I was really curious about the rubber stamps of the tubes of Cadmium Yellow paint: who would make such a stamp for so esoteric an item? Only a painter would know what it was. I asked her.
She told me, "You're a painter."
She works in collage. She sent me 2 nicely-framed collages.
Three years ago, exactly! I just came across this and absolutely love both the stamps...and the Stamps! This most decidedly is Mail Art, and I have a drawer filled with the wonderful pieces friends have sent to me in past years!
