Well Fed Goats by kannafoot

Well Fed Goats

My original plan for today was to take some pumpkin patch photos at a local farm. With that in mind, I headed to Adams Farm in Cumberland, knowing they had fall activities planned that included a pre-picked pumpkin patch, hayrides, and a petting zoo. While there, I spotted this family heading over to feed the two goats in the petting zoo, and immediately knew this would be the photo of the day. The little girl was priceless. She'd reach out to feed the goat, he'd lick the pellets in her hand, and she'd laugh heartily and spill all the remaining pellets onto the ground. She'd then repeat the process until the cone of pellets was empty. You'll notice that I kept this photo in color. I had to, once I noticed that the girls sneakers matched the color of her shirt, and her mom's sandals matched the color of her top. I find that impressive since I'm thrilled if I can just get my socks to match.

Post processing started with a photo pop filter in Topaz Adjust. I then adjusted adaptive exposure, regions, and contrast. A levels adjustment was added in PSE.
