A couple of us went to the Higgins Armory Museum in Worcester, Massachusetts, today. The museum has been a fixture in Worcester since 1931, however it will close its doors for the final time at the end of this month. The medieval arms and armor that are the hallmark of the museum will be moved to a nearby arts museum. If today is any indication, though, the museum does a good business. The exhibit halls were crowded and the patrons spanned all ages. Several youth groups were there as well. It's surprising that the the museum - which is accredited through 2015 - does not have sufficient funding to continue.
Post processing started with a detail light filter in Topaz Adjust. I then adjusted adaptive exposure, regions, contrast, and protect highlights. A levels adjustment was added in PSE. The very warm tone in the photo is the natural lighting tone in the museum and was not enhanced.
