Very cute. Looks like you hung the necklace on the outside of the tank, I can see a reflection in the glass. Sorry the day was bad. I used to keep tetras in tanks with live plants. It was therapeutic to sit and watch them for awhile. They were always so grateful at feeding time.
@kimmistephens Hehe, wouldn't that be harmful to Fishy?? I hang it around the tank at night and put it on myself in the morning. When I feed Fishy, I either take the necklace off the tank or put it on (she is fed once in the morning and once in the evening) so when she hears the necklace clang against the bowl she swims to the top and usually looks through the necklace at me.
@robv I went and got Sonoran style hot dogs (bacon wrapped hot dogs), a blue raspberry icee, and watched Fishy for like an hour and, I have to say, I was happy for about an hour and a half!
My fish tanks always make me feel better when I've had a crummy day.. They do have a way of putting the calm back into you.. I hope tomorrow is better..
This shot made me think twice (is the necklace in the tank or not--figured out it was on the tank, not in it). Creative idea. Hope today is better for you.
Wow, I have nearly that same heart necklace (from my daughter) that I was trying to photograph the other night - just couldn't get it right. This is great :)
@pfmandeville Thanks!! I had to use the manual focus to get the correct focus on this. I also photographed it earlier in my project with reverse macro( http://365project.org/kerristephens/365/2010-12-07). I find jewelry difficult. I hope to see your ideas on how to photograph it soon. You are very creative!!
