We're drawing to the end of the ski season, but the snow keeps on coming. It was a very unexpected surprise this morning to see how much fresh powder there was. So I took Reuben on a double black run he'd been asking to do for weeks. What was shin deep to me was knee deep to him, but he pushed through and made it down. So much fun to see what my little boy has achieved in the last two and a half months. I'm so proud of him and his adventurous spirit.
@cristenfarrell I was just looking at your snow pictures too, as they caught my eye. We're in the Kootenay's in BC, and it's snowed nearly every day this month. It's been so much fun, I'm really going to miss it.
@lunthemum@kris76@exposure4u It's amazing that kids really have no fear. He just keeps getting up and doing it again and again. Wait until next year when I can get some pics of him doing jumps!!!
@kiwichick Oh, I'll miss the snow too! It's been cold here this week, and while the conditions are good, we need sharp edges! I thought I'd be packing away the skis today, but I've convinced my husband that the temps will be warm enough to get some nice spring runs in this weekend... But seeing your pictures makes me even more desperate to get back out west for a few days next year!
@cristenfarrell Well I've never skied out east but it sounds like a trip to the west is worth the effort and cost. We've had snow all but two days this month. http://www.redresort.com/mountain/report/ Unlike you though it's been warm, so we've had rain in town. But luckily it's all been snow on the mountain.
just saw it now on the favourites of this past week.
