This is what the oystercatchers were making such a fuss about. Somewhere in the driftwood but nowhere near where the parents were, I found these. Talk about trying to lead photographers astray! I hope they are kept safe from marauding dogs, falcons and stoats.
Beautiful image Liana - but such a precarious looking set-up for their nest. Is it in a sanctuary - it would seem that dogs and human footsteps would be major threats.
