I chose my crystal ball (actually two crystal balls) for the same subject (shape, positive and negative space) for this week. I like the yin yang effect here.
@robz Thank you. The big one is inherited from my mother in law - she was into clairvoyance but I prefer using it to 'see' photography. The second is my little gifts to myself (it is easier to hold which is handy when without a tripod).
@robz I used to be concerned about a couple of flaws in the crystal but I discovered that a 'real' crystal ball needs a flaw so they can be better used for "scrying". Don't you just love that word (scrying is to foretell the future using a crystal ball or other reflective object or surface). Just a bit of further trivia for your information!
@kiwinanna Great word!! How amazing that there is actually a word for that process - it must have a really old origin. Also, your mother-in-law must have been a most interesting person.. Thanks for sharing all of this info. :)
