Our next stop on the scenic road trip took us to the Hurunui River Mouth where I found some more reflections. It is intriguing how the river flows alongside the beach until it breaks through and reaches the sea.
I didn’t know there was a river called Hurunui, I only know it as the name of the road my family lived in until recently in Kinloch. Beautiful place it is too, those sand banks are incredible!
