Happy Fourth of July

We had rain and thunderstorms this evening, but the combination of the lightning over the lake and the distant fireworks was pretty awesome. This is my nephew, Gage, hoping the rain will stop so he can do sparklers and have some s'mores. It did.

what a lovely shot to remember the day. We had rain where i was visiting (Florida) too, but it stopped in time for the fireworks. The rain brought out some adorable frogs, so I was a happy girl.
