My photo for this week is from April 25th - which was International Pay It Forward Day. Anyone who followed me during my 365 project last year knows that my son is in a rock band at an extra curricular music school. On the 25th this band had traveled to Cleveland to perform for a group of youth there and then to share workshops and teach them the next day. They were there sharing their gift of music and years of training with children less fortunate than themselves. They handed out percussion instruments for the kids to play throughout their concert, and by the end had the whole group out of their seats dancing! It was great fun to watch. The smiles created by our generous musicians were shared back in a cycle of joy that just kept giving and has us smiling still, days after the trip is done.
