Today I called at Allan's place (my brother) to see how he was, as I hadn't seen him since Christmas.
He showed me our late Grandmother's Box Brownie camera
Wow! Was I excited!
It has several different shutter speeds that are controlled by pulling out a lever & turning a small key-like lever.
Also 2 different lenses, so you can take portrait shots or landscape photos. Just a fantastic camera. it was one of the very first ones to use colour film. We had some developed about 15 years ago from old coloured negatives & they were fantastic, but cost a fortune to have printed.
The camera is number 360. This is stamped into the back of the camera along with the maker's plate.
I added a very light sepia look to the shot.
