Drove up to Sherman, TX, to this wildlife refuge as it was a beautiful day. Unfortunately, this was the only trail open as all others were closed off for hunting. They were hunting ferrel hogs but we never heard any gun shots...go figure. We did see a few birds and ducks but nothing close enough to get any photos.
I have decided that these wildlife refuges are just that - a refuge - even from photographers. I've never been able to get a photo there . It is a very pretty scene, though.
