Took a walk down to Bowsfield Nature Reserve by the River Tees at lunch time. Saw some Lapwings, Heron, Reed bunting and the usual Coot, Swan and Mallard.
I took a couple of other shots of pretty flowers but this Dandelion Clock just looks so perfect and I love the contrast with the sky (deep clouds were looming).
Our dandelions are still all yellow. I can't wait until they start turning white (hoping to get a shot of a seed floating away...we'll see...lol). Great shot!
Reed bunting, good spot! I nearly got attacked by a grey heron taking my pic. I climbed down the banking and spooked it fishing. I don't know who was more shocked me or him. They are big birds up close.
great dandelion clock - I haven't ever paid much attention to these really - but this year I guess they are so big and there are so many good shots of them...must get one for my album! Cool shot
