My focus today was on slow exposure shots of a little waterfall. I was totally engrossed in my waterfall photography when out of the blue came these two geese, nearly taking my head off! They positioned themselves on top of a wooden gazebo close to me. After recovering from the surprise of their arrival, I shot away. The goose in the front is watching me warily, while the one in the background is unconcerned. I love the balance of their two profiles.
Great story and well illustrated. Geese here are so wary you can't get close at all for photos, but where we used to live in California the golfers need to push them aside to get to their golf balls. Silly geese.
Holy cow, I'm faving two shots of yours in one day. I love the balance and negative space between the two heads, and then the wood with the three wooden endgrain squares just takes it over the top.
