The Visitors

My focus today was on slow exposure shots of a little waterfall. I was totally engrossed in my waterfall photography when out of the blue came these two geese, nearly taking my head off! They positioned themselves on top of a wooden gazebo close to me. After recovering from the surprise of their arrival, I shot away. The goose in the front is watching me warily, while the one in the background is unconcerned. I love the balance of their two profiles.
This is such a beautiful shot, Lisa. Gorgeous composition and love how the wood looks against the gray/brown feathers. I LOVE your photos!

Great story and well illustrated. Geese here are so wary you can't get close at all for photos, but where we used to live in California the golfers need to push them aside to get to their golf balls. Silly geese.
