I love park benches. In our busy world, they encourage us to slow down and linger for a moment, to observe and appreciate the beauty around us. I've been taking photos of benches since the project started, but haven't posted one yet. Today seems like a park bench kind of day.
I see this as a study of shapes and patterns. The bench's vertical and horizontal slats, the blocky stones, and the matrix of the fence work well together.
A thoughtful composition of a peaceful scene. I like your reflective comments too - you're absolutely right about the need to slow down and appreciate what's around us. I think 365 helps a lot with that.
what a nice relaxing find! I like the bench next to the iron....very good shot...you should post more of your benches...they'd make a good series. I like boxes, so maybe I'll try to photo them.
another beauty to add to your album :-)
