I craved color today - in my album and in my life - so I revisited my favorite nursery. It was in full bloom and absolutely glorious! I took almost too many shots and struggled to choose just one. Since hydrangea are a favorite of mine, I settled on this one.
You composition and focus are flawless as usual! I'm looking forward to color too--if only the plant nurseries would open! Are you in the zone 6 part of Idaho? I tend to forget about that and just imagine icy mountains.
@anwan Thank you for your comment, Anwan! I had to check the map, but yes Boise is in the zone 6 area. The winters here are not nearly as harsh as other parts of the state. It's long and cold enough for me though! I am so ready for spring. I know you are feeling the same way. Maybe you could find some greenhouses in your area? That's where I took this shot, and my earlier daffodil and tulip ones, as well. They were open when the regular nurseries were not. Just a thought... Thanks again for your comment and support!
@mandapanda1971 Thank you, Amanda. I hope my "exif" info is showing up on your end? It looks to be from my settings. Anyway, I used a 50 mm lens. Aperture priority setting at f/2. Does that help?
