Heading back to Melbourne on Sunday night - this was actually taken on 12 May 2013. As we drove through the city - as passenger - I took as many shots of the cityscape as I could. The camera seemed to do a pretty good job as we were on the move and my shots were taken pretty fast! This image was captured whilst looking back at Bolte Bridge just after we'd driven over it. This bridge is named after Henry Bolte - a former Premier of the state of Victoria. I played with the contrast - made it darker - but I liked the effect! :)
Lovely moody sky and glowing lights on the bridge. I like the way the towers of the bridge are standing in front of a light patch of sky so that we can see them reaching up. Great shot, particularly when taken on the move!
