Gate way

My last pic . was seen a alley with a gate way . There are several of it in those neigbourhoud On this an other one . This alleys are still in use for traffics. (Walking) to go and come to the houses
Another nice shot. I like the nostalgic lamps you can see.

Great depth of field. I love the feeling of age in this photo. Lots of rectangle shapes in this picture. These shapes make me feel that these buildings are very stable.

This makes me want to go exploring down there! There were whole mazes of tiny alleys in China near where I lived. I will post some pics of them next month when I am back visiting. Thanks for adding me and tell your wife she has good taste in jewellery too ;-)

What a fun tour you have given. This alley might make me a little nervous. It looks like the cement above might be crumbling? I was trying to figure out what was along the sides. Are those ladders? It is so wonderful to look at, small spaces are just a little scary to me!! I do agree about the traveling. My favorite place to be is either at home or at the lake. I am getting pretty tired of the snow this winter though. It has been extreme, and the pictures of Australia are so beautiful. I would like to visit some day!! I didn't know that you were a sailor. I bet home felt especially wonderful to you!

Wow, those alleys are really interesting! Love that it's leading into a courtyard. and the ladder on the wall is also a gret detail. Nice!
