Birds of paradise

On 365 often pic of Hummingbirds ( our name = Kolibrie) are send in. I`m a bit of jealous , we don`t have them But inspired by those beautiful birds I did made several broches of laminate (Formica) and stainless steel. Size app. 3 x 2 inches. I call those broches ``Birds of paradise``
Older followers know this is my greatest hobby.
Also a tribute for those who send the beautiful pic of those birds

Beautiful work! Did you make these out of wood? I had hummingbirds, but they left at the time of my city's tornado. Perhaps I will have some in the fall migration and can post a picture for you then.
