I like how the different colored stones show off the walkway. although I find it difficult to walk on when you have high heel shoes on. I love your picture..so european.
I love the stone work on this path. Stones are so beautful on their own, but the idea that someone took the time to lay every one of these in place to make this walkway just amazes me. That's the kind of craftsmenship that gets lost these days.
