Alley`s, waiting to discover and explore

Love to discover and explore those small alley`s in old cities. This one I found in the city Middelburg. Holland The climber plant is a grape.

My hand is doing great. They take out the stitches to day The operation gash looks fine and is start to heal. Hope I can use it soon to saw and file again.
These narrow alley ways intrigue me too -- sometimes a lovely discovery , other times just so ordinary ! Lovely tall buildings but disappointed they have nit painted the side of the building !! It would make the alley way cleaner and not so claustrophobic !!
Glad to hear the hand is doing well -- take care !

At the end of the alley is an archway with a tree behind it. I wonder what is back there. I love to explore! Nice shot.

Great idea and so well captured. I like the brick streets and all the detail in the buildings. I bet the grape vine looks pretty when it starts to bloom. I'm so happy your hand is healing so well.

@beryl @lealady @mittens @777margo @skstein @sangwann @cimes1 @quietpurplehaze @anazad511 @fishers thank you very much for you concerns and good wishes .
@ivan @olivetreeann @anazad511 thank for the Fav.`s Much appreciated.
@beryl . I `m not agree with you. If you`ve paint a wall you need to do it again every 3/4 years. . They do it because the bricks need it to get waterproof. If they did the alleyway it soon becomes green of the moss and algae. No sun comes in it. .

@pyrrhula Good points Pyrrhula --I had not thought of the practicality of it -- only of the aesthetic look of the place !

@quietpurplehaze To an other street (mostly) or a square with entrances of some houses.
@ivan Next time you visit us I show you around.

@beryl ( The bricks of old houses could n`t be fired at hot temperatures in those days. So they did n`t get waterproof. For that reason they are painted. The first buildings are made of wood with a brick facade. The brick side wall is made in later times . Often after a fire and the fabrication of bricks improve in time )

I see that your hand is ok, this picture is very clear (and interesting, too).

How lovely to see these tidy pathways, uncluttered with debris! I'm afraid that in most US cities, the word, "alley" does not bring such a nice place to mind! Glad to see yours, and SO GLAD your hand is healing beautifully! If you're ready to get back to your jewelry design, you must not be in much pain! :)
