Sprouts. I wonder if that is what we call in German Rosenkohl, here in English Brussel Sprouts. Did not know they like the frost like Kale.
It looks like a good harvest. Hans tried to grow them in the garden, but they didn't do too good. the Kale was thriving. Fav. picture, Ferry, well taken.
Great shot with leading lines and green texture. We call these Brussel Sprouts where I live. I did not grow any this year, but I do not think they would be that green with all of the cold temperatures we have been having. a fav
very interesting scene. first time I have ever connected the city of Brussels with Brussel Sprouts befofe. funny how we can use words and never even think of their origin. However, they are not my favourite vegetable
Very very interesting! and I see Mickey, above, says he loves them, and Krista says they taste like dirt. That's SO interesting as I love all vegetables...but not these!
Looks like Brussels Sprout heaven! Had to laugh looking over some of the comments. I think this poor vegetable is one of those "you either love it or hate it" kinds of food.
