Windmill ``the Poel``

De Poel is a flour mill in Nisse in the Dutch province of Zeeland .

The mill was built in 1752 and remained until 1797 owned by the Artisans of Nisse. Then the mill changed owners several times. The current owner is the municipality of Borsele . The windmill remained in operation until 1949 on wind power. In 1980 and 1981 a radical restoration was carried out. Since then, a freewill miller has been operating the mill regularly.

The rods of the mill are 18.75 meters long and are equipped with the Old Dutch fencing and sailing
