There were lots of Red Kites flying around the cattle they kept swooping down between the cattle. I realised later whilst looking at my other shots there is a new born calf in the field so I guess they were feeding on the afterbirth. I shall have to visit again to see if I can get a closer shot of the calf.
@roachling They were reintroduced in the Rockingham Forest which is not far from me and have really thrived not least because they are scavengers at heart and man is very messy...
