Puzzled

Fluffy volunteered to have her portrait taken, just for this effort. Thanks, Fluffy!

This for the 365 toy group... theme - puzzles. This was my first attempt at this technique, making a photo into a jigsaw puzzle. If I were braver, I would have tried to get more pieces out, but it took a ridiculous amount of time to do just this. :) Still, very instructive and entertaining.

Thanks for your kindnesses, comments and visits as you have time to give.
Very good - there is a jigsaw option in one app I use but I wish I could make a real jig saw and not just a picture! This would be delightful for a children's gift!

this is great. I love the soft focus that makes it look like poor fluffy is trapped inside that puzzle!

Really clever - reminds me of my dad using a little hacksaw and making us girls a jigsaw out of wood with a picture stuck on.

Awwww such a great shot and love how you composed this.! Reminds me of that "Big Eyes" artist that was just made into a movie. Can't recall her name.

You've inspired me to take on PS. I have the cloud subscription as well. Haven't used it yet. Are you using tutorials to learn?
January 29th, 2015
This is very cool, well done!
January 29th, 2015
@taffy I am using the on-line tutorials. For this image, though, I sought out the wisdom on YouTube. :)

@taffy Also... I think you will enjoy the interplay between LR and PS. You can edit in LR, move over to edit in PS, "save" and have your new version available for more work in LR. It is pretty neat, once you get comfy with it. I am looking forward to learning your opinion of this process, once you begin.
