Typically the mall would be packed with shoppers on the Sunday after Thanksgiving, but it looks like most people are doing their shopping online this year and avoiding the crowds. I'm usually not a fan of super busy malls, but it's still sort of a sad sight to see.
@randystreat I'm guessing a lot of people order their gifts online and then go in to pick them up in-store, rather than spending too much time in stores looking for gifts. So stores would need to stay open due to that reason. A lot of people don't want to have to pay delivery fees, including myself.
