Surprisingly, not a great deal is known about the origins of The Elder Cone wand, except that it has been turned down by many an aspiring wizard who considered it sub-standard groundfall and passed it by without so much as a secondary wave or glance. Thusly, the wand ensured that it only (after many years with but the company of semi-interested, guardian, dark squirrels) was discovered in its uniquely trodden-on, half-bitten state by its rightful owner, "He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Gnomed." (uhm Lord Talldemort)
*Apologies for the few puns, there should be more!
Obviously a Harry Potter fan !! I read the first book & really enjoyed it but for some reason didn't follow on ..time probably! Must start again now I have more time. Great topical photo & script !
@digitalrn It took me a while to get around to liking Harry Potter, Rick. Actually, ten years ago a friend gave me the first book, I read the initial chapter and wasn't interested in finishing it off, thinking it too childish. Certainly the first book is not her best regarding writing style. Eight years later, I listened to some of the later books as read by Jim Dale and then I understood just why people love this series so much. It's such a complete fictional world with lots of contrasts and creative twists.
Hands off ladies...he's mine.
