Echo scan by seanoneill

Echo scan

This is the screen showing the echo scan of my son's heart at his check up yesterday.

I think it fits the spn-4 theme well, because human ingenuity is very much alive and well here, but the vast majority of people never need the services of an echo scan, so it is very much undervalued until you need it!!

My son Ben has been signed off for 9 months so we don't go back until next March. He has issues with the physiology of his heart which 3 surgeries haven't fully corrected. However,, we received some good news, that he will probeblay not need any further surgery for several years.

Clever theme shot. Hope all is ok...

@hasselhotch @noragentian Thanks guys. It is a very important machine to us! Ruth, no need to apologise, it is something that we live with and cope with. There are many kids and parents worse off than us.

OMG I am so pleased to hear your son will probably not need any more surgery for a few years - that must be a huge weight of your shoulders as parents. This is a cool shot for the theme.

This is such wonderful news. . .thank you for sharing with us. I think this is one of those incredible things about 365, a place where you can lay your heart out and know that everyone will hold your news and thoughts tenderly. Congratulations on those free nine months!
