Allium with Bee and green background

I would like to dedicate this photo to @myautofocuslife and @ozziehoffy

Both of you have opened my eyes to taking shots of insects on flowers with some of the incredible work you have posted in recent months.

I swapped this from my second album after getting some comments saying people prefered this one, because actually I do too!

Very well done. Beautifully composed, super focus/dof, great colours. Is that a green card you have used as backdrop or were you fortunate enough to have a naturally smooth green background. Either way it is really good.

@yrhenwr I often use green card David, but in this occasion I used the shallow dof that my macro lens gives me and positioned myself to get the green wash from the plants behind the Allium.
