I have driven past this scene thousands of times, and it has taken 365 to get me to see its beauty.
This is just off the main A60 north of Hoton, I am probably no more than 10ft from the road in a gateway to take this.
When I left my office with this shot in mind the skies were beautiful and blue but I could see a weather front in the distance. It sat just over the top of the trees.
I guess I am cheating a little by tagging elt, but hey ho!!
Absolutely beautiful, the sky is a fantastic capture and the colour of the field is amazing with a touch of orangey-pink which is echoed in the sky and ties the whole thing together. Love the way the trees have light sky behind them. Superb.
I think you were lucky with the weather the sky looks fabulous lovely pinky grey colour!! We started blue and turned to this as well!! So green spring wheat? 365 is great for making you look at familiar things in a new light!! Lovely shot with the tractor lines....
This is lovely new growth...what is elt? Love that sky it shows up so well behind that vast field & that clump of trees just break up the line. Perfect composition too.
Funny how we actually see beauty now, when my comp died I took a break, wanted to stop playing games online, perfect opportunity. I ended up depressed because I couldn't download photos, I was missing the beauty of the shot. Looks like this camera idea is here to stay. I learnt that we must take what's on offer while we have it available, even if it's a silly online game. ;) oh, but I haven't gone back to the games, wast of time.
I also like this one the best of the three. I like the lead up the hill showing us the landscape but not beyond apart from the tree. It makes you want to see more.. Beautiful sky. Lovely shot.
GASP!!!! OMG Sean Another Beautiful Shot and a Instant FAV!! I need to catch up on your photo's Im sure i have missed some other masterpieces! This one is over the top for me! I love it!
@noragentian Thank you so much Ruth. It is the 900th time someone has faved a shot of mine, and I am so thrilled that someone who has followed me since the start of my project has awarded it to me. I will keep looking for landscapes, I have grown to love taking them this year so much.
