Rebecca and I have just enjoyed a wonderful (and at times eventful) weekend in Paris.
I managed to get a few shots over the 3 days, including a few off the bucket list. So here is one of them, a shot of the Arc de Triomphe at night with a few light trails. As all the lights were white, it translates to my usual B+W style perfectly. Some colour and further B+W versions to follow in other albums and on other days.
Have a fav for your efforts, this is beautiful. Well worth freezing over. Do you find you don't realise how cold it is until the photography has finished and then wonder why fingers are numb?
Love this - super shot - has to be a fav in its own right. But also, I took a photo on Kodak transparency 64 ASA, of the Arc one warm evening at twilight in 1966! I had a fixed lens Voigtlander Vito C then, and placed it on top of a flat bollard, used a hand held light meter and hoped. It worked, trails and all! I was with a friend (male!) and we were camped in the Bois de Boulogne. Nice excuse to reminisce, Sean!
