Catching up as always! This is from last night, playing long exposures from the side of the Thames, thinking about the artist's challenge. I was hoping for a bus, but didn't manage to time a shot to work. I did try from the bridge too, but the view was more of other photographers trying for long exposures and/or tourists taking pictures of themselves against the bridge.
Thank you for your lovely responses to the other black and white pictures. I'm not sure how much time I'm going to get to look at pictures this week, but I'll do my best.
This one gets my vote - I like the luminous quality of the light... it gives the image a faint ghostly air which suits the lack of traffic in the shot.
Great b & w, and especially as it's with a p and s camera. I have a small canon powershot too which takes brilliant photos...... Sometimes wonder why I bother with lugging a big DSLR around!
pItch black sky.
