My get pushed partner challenged me to capture a backlit portrait this week. This is the second photo I've posted for this challenge, and this precious photogenic kitty has been the subject in both photos! Well, so has this lamp... The sun has not cooperated with me at all this week, so the challenge has turned out to be bigger than I thought it would be, and has certainly forced me to think differently than I originally had. I had to use some fill flash in order to get anything other than a silhouette of her. Not sure if that is allowable? My partner will have to make that call!
