Dh was all in to the dead trees last night. So I took this shot because he really liked the wind-blown shape of this one. Nothing exciting going on with light or sky or anything, but dh wanted it, so I took it.
Then today I attended a photoshop class on using textures, and guess what!!! Turns out textures are really cool! This one exported back to LR a little more purple than I created it in PS, but dh and the teenager are ready to eat, so I just need to get this posted and move along.
Beautiful photo. Again, thanks for volunteering to partner with me for Get Pushed this week. For your challenge, I would like to see some abstract photography. Have fun with it!!
@jgpittenger Jane! You've got me thinking all about camera clubs again! Your critiques were so eye-opening (and appreciated!!!), and I learned so much from them, I just got to thinking that I need that more often! There's a club about an hour down the road that runs Sept to May, and I think I'm going to have to join this year!
Mmmm now I really like those textures - great processing. I need to find myself some PS classes - then maybe I'd actually enjoy it! Many thanks for the follow and I look forward to following you back :)
@pistache Thanks Clare! The classes do make a difference, and we have so very few of them. Post processing is my least favorite part of photography, but learning how to do it really does make it more bearable!
