Nestled in the trees is the our village church of St Lawrence's. It is listed as a grade I listed building and has been described as a mini cathedral. Although it has been altered throughout it's history parts of it a believed to date back to 1200.
I was in your village in July and took pix of your lovely and very distinctive church and enjoyed a very tasty meal in the Boar's Head. Super pic and pov
@thresheg@evilsockmonkey@happypat@elmay@brillomick@barneyone@gijsje@terryliv@hermann@kimdavis@onewing Thank you all for your time and comments. It is a beautiful building. A few years ago it was nearly sold off but the villagers rallied round and got the sale stopped thus we still have this wonderful place for local and visitors to enjoy. @barneyone Rita I think you must be mixing us up with somewhere else because we only have one pub in the village and it is called The Butchers Arms. They do really good meals and it is community owned.
