After touring downtown Athens, it was time to return to the UGA campus. And another look at the iconic Arch. This is the view everyone receives of the Arch as they are entering campus from downtown. Notice how close the Academic Building is to the Arch. Best viewed large.
Veronica and I attended a very fun pot-luck dinner party last night at a friend's home in the neighborhood. It began at 6 pm and we didn't leave until 2 am - we sang karaoke for 4 hours! Feeling just a wee bit rough this morning but it was worth it - a great time was had by all!
And look how early you posted after a night of revelry. This is a beautiful shot of the arch. I particularly love the columns in the background - one of my favorite architectural features.
