I stopped on the way back from work just off the A40 to try and capture a nighttime shot of the Hoover Building, but I know I need to go back with my tripod, my SLR and with a lot more time to set-up, and with more daylight left so I can capture the building with blue still in the sky.
So I quickly walked over the footbridge nearby to get this shot of the rush home.
The soft part in the front-right foreground is the bridge railing that I was resting the X100 on.
I need legs to really make this work. And the X100 is an awesome camera but for trails like this I really need to use my 7D.
This is my aim in life to do as hot like this one day...haven't even had the tripod out yet. This summer perhaps....looks fantastic Steve. our X100 has done well!
@gwhit123 George it's very simple. This was done by resting my X100 on a hand rail of a bridge looking down at the traffic. Dead simple. Better done with a tripod though. :)
