I was laying on the grass to get some shots of the Goslings when they all came out of the water. There were about 30 of them, all different sizes and they just kept on coming. Very quickly, I found myself totally surrounded by both Goslings and adults literally at the end of my nose and too close to get a shot of with a 150mm lens. One brave little one actually climbed onto my back, to inspect my rucksack.
I so wish there had been another photographer to record the event as it would have made one of those fantastic "when photographers get it wrong" shots.
I did enjoy the experience though.
The teen-age years - and no fear of you. Surprised the adults didn't go on the offensive - they sure do here if I get too close. Must have been a neat experience.
