Yes it´s a brand new year. None of us really know where we will be in 365 days, a lot can happen in a year. We just gotta trust that the road will be there and that it will lead us where ever we are supposed to go.
@derekvickers Thank you Derek, that is a very nice compliment. Photography is a way to express myself, so I tend to see those kind of pics that fit my inner state,so there´s a lot of me to be seen in my pics if one just knows how to look. But isn´t that what we all do, we all see our world differently and with our photos we let other see glimpse of those.

The secret is to stay true to your art and to produce images that please yourself not the images that you consider others will be pleased with. Sometimes we get lucky and we please ourselves and others too. :)
Suse, I completely agree with @derekvickers, your work speaks volumes. There are often times when I am very moved by your photos. Your new year narrative and photo is a prime example - very evocative and open to interpretation. You are an artist.
@fugitivemoments Thank you so much Linda for that wonderful comment! I feel that you too put a lot of yourself in your photography, you take such atmospheric shots that evoke a lot of feelings in me.
I do believe that life sometimes feels like this picture- a road that leads into the distance but to where? I'm glad I often look on this road and see footsteps next to mine. They help me to go forward even when I don't want to. Great shot!
I have always been fascinated by snow but this shot makes it look too arid and scary at the same time. You have expressed great feelings in this capture. May the New year be full of wonderful things to fill all the void in this shot.
@annied I am fine, just been a bit busy with the new work, hope to get back here next week. Hope everything is okey with you too. Thank you for checking on me :)
@kali66 Hi Kali, all is well. I hope everything is well with you too and you have found some peace and tranquility in your life after the sorrow you faced last year.
