Toy Traffic

I tried a different scene for my get-pushed challenge to create a miniature tilt-shift effect in editing. I like the first attempt better. I may not be finished with this challenge, yet.
@shannejw Here's another response to your challenge. You really need to get the right kind of scene for this effect to work. I think it needs to be busy with lots of detail. Maybe I should have tried this one during rush hour.

The scenes I've really liked have been from someone who used to be on here and took shots of St Ives from the hillside, but I've managed to create miniature shots like this https://www.flickr.com/photos/12323897@N04/7692699388/in/photolist-cRAABQ-cHM6w5 and https://www.flickr.com/photos/12323897@N04/7781183014/in/album-72157629859817447/ - I learned from someone on here who isn't here any more - asrai

That's rather fun, looks a good thing to try.

Great result - Did you catch sections and blur them to different degrees?

@robz It's all from one photo. I blurred one copy of it and masked out the part that I wanted to be sharp in a different layer.

@tdaug80 Ahh - different approach but same end result I would imagine. Thanks for the info! Cheers Rob
