My get-pushed partner challenged me to photograph something gritty and/or industrial — entirely man-made. She also said that I'd get bonus points for rust. While the setting isn't industrial, I think I got the gritty part right.
Mary, I think this shot gets the highest score for photographic merit. The encroaching flora isn't man made, but it adds to the feel of the scene. I'm enjoying this challenge. Thanks for thinking it up. @mcsiegle
Oh, yeah! Rust in abundance. What a pity to have to deduct a point and a half from the extra rust points for all the flora. Photographically excellent, though! Very aesthetically pleasing. Mission well accomplished!
