This tower is on the outskirts of the downtown area and provided for the textile mills that supported much of this community. This water tower is most of what remains of this mill. The mill building burned in recently years and is slowly being demolished and cleared away.
Cool POV. I did some shots like this a few years ago for photo club. Many of them are fenced so that one can't get a close up underneath view like this.
