One of many sprouts...

When I looked around the area I had cleaned under our Live Oak (which we have always called "God's Tree"...and I don't remember why), I noticed several seedlings. As you can see in the photo, there is an acorn and beside that a seedling. The squirrels enjoy "planting" the acorns which ultimately grow into seedlings. We literally have dozens of young trees under the Virginia Pine Trees.
You can replant a forest! Nice textures and colors on your pic

We have about a 25' poplar tree that we have watched grow from a seed sprout. I like this shot.

Lucky you! I love Live Oaks. The squirrels were working overtime with the prolific acorn drop from our White Oaks this year.
