I love New York, but one of the things that I hate about it is the piles of garbage put out every night on the street. We don't do that in Chicago, we have alleyways, with dumpsters, that also make great short cuts, and wonderful photo opportunities!
I am enthralled by your work. I am pretty much a newbie ( in my 6th month). I've only visited Chicago once but fell in love with the downtown and the art by the lake.
This shot is dark but not. The shadows give me a path to the end and I see the tiny car- sweet touch.
Fabulous composition and light.! We've only been to New York once and when we arrived in the evening and saw the garbage everywhere we weren't impressed and thought there must be a garbage strike happening. No, that's just the way they do it! Gross!
