I went to an art exhibition today. Diane Arbus was an American photographer who was famous for her black and white images of marginalised people, and some of her work was being displayed at the Nottingham Contemporary. Being a fan of black and white photography, I was quite inspired by her work. I would recommend checking out her art if you're in Nottingham, or have a look online if you can't.
The weather was up and down today - sunny and warm one minute, windy and grey the next. I got home after visiting the art centre and the weather was going through a warm spell. I poured myself some lemonade and the sun shone through my window and then my glass.
I thought it was an interesting reflection, with the bubbles providing an unusual effect. I increased the clarity and detail in post-processing, as well as making the dark bits darker and the light bits lighter. If I took the photo again I probably would have reduced the aperture so more of the bubbles are in focus in the glass.
So I'm off to watch Inception tonight. Inception is the new film by Christopher Nolan, director of The Dark Knight, and Leonardo Di Caprio heads an all-star cast. I mentioned in Thursday's post that I'm really looking forward to it, as I do like a quality film. This movie looks particularly interesting as it marries cerebral concepts with good old action. Should be fun!
Semi-professional photographer based in Nottingham, England, I shoot mainly events and weddings. I'll be posting my work using my Fujis - X100S and X-Pro1.

Love this....SO cool!
You should enter it into the Curves theme!
We saw Inception yesterday...so my day's photo was taken at the theatre complex. Really good movie...if not confusing!
BEST effects were the upside down fight scenes with Joseph Gordon Levitt. Amazing!

Love the bubbles.
And the shadow is just as interesting as what's in the glass!
