My shoulder has started to feel much better recently. So much so that I had my first weights workout for a fortnight today, albeit lighter weights than what I usually do. It's good to get back into my routine again. Anyway, my bike is in my garage where my gym equipment is, and I got an idea for an interesting image.
When I was done I brought my camera and tripod into my gym and set it up above my back wheel, which was raised off the floor. I spun the wheel and took a few shots. In post-processing I went through the various white balances, and the tungsten balance changed the colour scheme into this vibrant blue, so I kept it this way. I was pleasantly surprised with how it turned out and I like how abstract it looks.
One thing annoys me about doing this project in its truest form. Yesterday I went to the Peak District and took lots of shots. I had a surfeit of quality photos but I can only post one, and then I have to begin the creative process all over again today. After the exhausting day I had yesterday, it's a bit annoying. It's good experience though and what this project's about.

i completely agree with your sentiments on the project. i had actually checked out the flikr link and was wondering how you even made a decision with what you had; great stuff.
Love this! Such a great idea Vik it turned out great. Yeah its tough to only get to use one on those days you really got the right vibe and grab so many nice shots.
I feel you on the one picture thing. So annoying at times!
Oh, had a look through your other pics - some great shot there...
