Beargrass by 365karly1

Beargrass

The beargrass is really prolific this year, most likely because we have had so much moisture this Spring and the past Winter. The beargrass is beautiful and can be 5 ft tall! Bears don't eat it but deer, elk, goats and sheep will. Native Americans used it to weave clothing and baskets. They also roasted the stalks to eat. A very cool plant!
Nice!

Wonderful POV and composition.. A plant of many uses from the sounds of it. Looks great against those tall trees.
