Smokey Camp Tuffitt

This was taken at a very unique, very old fashioned camp area that generations of families attend. The cabins are old as is everything else ... boats, docks, etc. but that is how everyone wants it to stay. It truly is a place that has been suspended in time. I talked to a gentleman today who was cleaning his catch by this dock - perch - and I asked him how long he had been coming here - his reply - 50 years. The background looks smokey because it is .... all over western Montana. Still lots of fires and, unfortunately, many homes have been burned.
Very nicely done to capture that feeling. Fav

It's a nostalgic scene that works so well, especially against the (very sad) smoky background, contrasting with the sharp pier and boat.
