This is a cherry orchard at rest along Flathead Lake. There are several orchards around the east shore of the lake and it is quite an industry. Many cherries are shipped out and you may have purchased some in your local grocery. So yummy!
Though early morning and I'm only underway with my coffee, you've got me thinking, "Pie!" (Clearly I'm not a health nut or I would have come up with better choices! ; )
This is beautiful in winter. My very first trip to Montana was in the month of August in 2001. Driving by Flathead Lake with the cherry trees so loaded with cherries they were touching the ground was one of the prettiest scenes I had ever seen!

I'll have to be watching where my cherries come from - what a wonderfully composed shot with the orchard making such a strong presence in the foreground and those gorgeous mountains in the distance. Your lighting tones are wonderful. I've been really fighting the whites on sunny days lately in the water shots.
